Looks like August 10-12 Fontana Village at the tail of the dragon. I want to make this BIG Oppo. I’m gonna see who in the automotive press community wants to join us. But most of all YOU SHOULD COME! Are you super cheap? There will be camp sites available. Are you super afraid of other people? There will be cabins available. Do you like people to make your bed? There’s hotel rooms. We will have a award ceremony and a giant photo shoot of the community’s cars w owners! There’s a lot more I want to do and clear, with the village. For now I’m working on prices, and discounts for us!

This is so far in advance that I really have no reason why I could not be there, especially since it is close by.
The thing that I think of is that it is the weekend after Miatas at the Gap, and my friend who always goes to that will be sad if I don’t go with him but am there the next weekend. On the other hand, Oppos might get to see some spectacular skid marks off the side of the road, since there seems to be at least one or two such wrecks every year at MatG.
The other thing is that I don’t know the 2018 autocross schedule yet, which could be a factor.
Put me down as highly possible. Thanks for working on this!

I’ll be in California so it would suck to go fly in without my Miata. I had so much fun last time I went and would love to enjoy the new upgrades there. Definitely recommend some midnight runs on the dragon, that was my favorite part!

Cool, thanks. I’m coming from about 3.5-4 hours away. I plan on coming regardless of turnout, unless it’s so low that it gets cancelled.
