I noticed a lot of smoke as I pulled onto the interstate this morning. I found the source at the next exit.

Ok, it wasn’t this trailer and it wasn’t this dramatic (yet), but it was a tanker and the right-rear trailer brakes were on fire. The driver knew something was up and was on the shoulder of the exit ramp, trying to get off the interstate. He was still rolling as I passed by. If I’d had a fire extinguisher, I would have stopped to lend a hand.
