Kinja'd!!!

Looks like the 3 is still there, which is a good thing because I’m headed back down to Chatham county today.

Pretty similar around Lawrenceville. Lots of cars in ditches and trees down, but nothing too significant as far as I’ve seen.

My parents have been without power for about 17 hours now, though. My apartment got lucky.

We lost power for about 30 seconds last night. It was wild.

Yep, my Fort Myers, FL, family heard that the power was back on at home last night, took off this morning. Now I can look at Google traffic and see minor back-ups from people heading back home, but hopefully it will be better than the traffic when they left.

They only had to deal with a bit of wind and some rain in Charlotte over the last 24 hours. I’m glad they came and stayed with us, we were all worried about the rest of the family that stayed behind.

Southwest Cherokee here, and well, we got nothing but rain. Not even the wind. Heading out for work, I saw no downed large limbs or trunks.

Trees are all standing, power is still on (it never went off at my house), and I still have outbound communications with AT&T.

I looked at the outage map this morning and the power should be on at my apartment complex. It was still on for my sister’s downtown apartment yesterday.

The power went off twice for about a total of 30 seconds and came right back on. I haven’t ventured out yet, but it doesn’t look too bad out there.

Coweta got some pretty good gusts of wind, but no trees down on my way to work.

Power went out for about 5 hours last night, but came back on just as I finished cooking dinner on the propane camp stove...

It hit our house pretty hard too. Literally. Woke at 11 ish pm to our house shaking. A 60 foot tree almost went through my parents bedroom but got caught out by our fence. Extremely close call. And our power was out the entire day

That was sarcasm, it just rained all day and we got a little wind. I saw a tree branch down when I was leaving my parents neighborhood this morning, that was about it for where I was. Power was out for a total of maybe 30 seconds.
