The 6 speed.
The acrylic roof is great. It can come out or go back in in a few minutes by myself.
The exhaust is Borla. Sounds nice.
The paint shines great.
I have cleaned it up some more since taking these pictures. And it cleaned up surprisingly well for a 28 year old Chevy. It does have some cracks in the seats which I plan on getting recovered in the spring. And that lead shot? This is how it looked before I took a red Sharpie to the badge... It also works on those pesky chips that like to collect wax residue.

Thanks! You got a good deal though. Mine has 121k, but the leather surfaces are showing their age and the rear tires are all-seasons. I plan on addressing those in the spring.
I’ve put on about 500 miles in 10 days and couldn’t be happier. It will be my daily for the 8 nice months I get.

Just doing a tune-up for now. The top has a crappy carbon fiber wrap on it so I will pull the top off and paint it, and fix the floppy headliner. Really not much to do to it, I do want to do something about the stock power antenna though. It’s nice that it disappears when the car is off, but every time I turn on the radio I hate how far it goes up!

Nice to see more C4s coming around lol. Jealous of the 6 speed, ‘89 is probably one of my favorite years for the C4. I’m a fan of the Borlas as well, have the same setup on my car. Good luck with yours.

89 is the only year you can get the pre-facelift exterior and boxy interior with the 6 speed. Prior years had the oddball 4+3, and later years had the curved dash.

That looks good in silver. Especially with the early wheels. I’ve used mine as my DD since I bought it and will continue to do so until it gets too cold for the summer tires. I have loved every minute of it. Even creeping along in Chicago rush hour traffic.

Have you considered the acrylic roof? Maybe sell the wrapped one to offset the cost? They look blacked out from the exterior but make the interior quite open feeling. Or as my one friend said, “It’s like you’re in the ocean.”

Nah, I’m not really going to be putting much money into this car. Already took the wrap off today and sanded it down for paint tomorrow.
