oh man, i forgot that was Mink Car release day... I worked at a stereo, A/V, record/CD shop and had just turned on the TV wall... I think I do remember unpacking our CD order later that day, but I think it might have been a week or more before I listened to my copy....

It’s something I didn’t learn until much later, as it wasn’t exactly an album I had been anticipating at the time. In fact, I only found out because somebody posted the same interview above on youtube a few years ago (maybe this exact video). Although come to think of it, I may have actually seen it on TV and just forgotten about it, I watched the show pretty regularly back then (but then again it was a night before school, so maybe not).

There was a Jimmy eat world album that was supposed to be released shortly after titled Bleed American. They had to postpone and retitle.
