The orange hues are solely from the sunset. Couldn’t get any closer without sneaking onto closed roads and into evacuated territory. My eyes even started burning a little bit, like when you stand in the smoke of a campfire. Pretty surreal. I didn’t even take any photos where the smoke was thickest, would’ve have been able to see anything.

Hey, I’ve got a part question. I finally bought new rear wheels, and while they’re both the same diameter, width and style, they’re different part numbers and the inside of the wheels are different. One was made in Belgium as opposed to Germany. Any thoughts? I think the Belgian wheel may be for an AMG package truck, or perhaps it’s just a different production run.

Where were you exactly? I fished the Columbia this spring out of The Dalles and I am curious how clos this was to that area? Great pics, BTW.

No problem. Do you know if they discontinued the S600 with the latest refresh? I haven’t seen any references to it in any of the press releases. Also, those pictures are neat.

Update: the one wheel doesn’t fit the car...so now I’m stuck with 3 wheels and no tires. I’m up the creek without a paddle because I have no idea where I’m going to find another wheel, and I don’t want to buy a tire for wrong sized wheel. Also, my car is just sitting at the dealer while I’ve got thier GLC.

That sucks. Keep an eye on eBay and craigslist? How do you like the GLC?
