Is that a margarita I spy as well? Looks like some fresh tortillas too. That’s my jam right there. I’m stuck in north scottsdale right now trying to figure out where to grab lunch without spending all my money. I have some good food content saved for this week’s edition of TWIP.

Yeah it’s their “El Jefe” margarita... reposado with fresh lime, pineapple, and orange juice. Fresh tortillas too. This is actually an early dinner out so that we didn’t have to bring the kids at dinner rush. So $13 for food and $12 drink. Awesome for the price but not an every day thing. Good luck with lunch. I’ve only been to Scottsdale once so I can’t be any help.

Within the US they are difficult but not impossible to find outside of TX, NM, AZ and CA.

Good call. Any big city with a significant Latin American population should have them too. That being said, the one time I had one in the Midwest it was two small ones - they just couldn’t get big fat poblanos in PA.

There are a lot of good (and cheap!) Mexican grocers in the city. I used to live within walking distance of a great one. Less of that in the burbs, but if you know where to look, it’s there. Best chiles there.
