36. The BMW 507 is the most beautiful roadster and I want one.
37. Most all YT supercar channels are the goddamn same or also terrible. My disliked YT car channels are as follows:
(Vehicle Virgins [personal experience with this one], Shmee150, Stradmann, MoVlogs, most supercar spotting-based channels, TJ Hunt, Salomondrin....There’s a trend here)
Amongst my favorites:
(Saabkyle04, Harry’s Garage, Smoking Tire, Carfection, Top Gear, DWA, YOUCAR, Doug, Engineering Explained, Jay Leno....)
38. The 200 Convertible....I don’t understand it, or it’s market. Or how I wasable to find such a nice picture of it.
39. The Astra OPC was the hot hatch we deserved before the Focus ST, and I still wish we had it.
40. The Bentayga is beautiful.

I also recommend ChrisFix for good car YouTubers. Seems like a positive and upbeat guy, his commenters seem pretty good, it’s good stuff.

Agree with 36-38 completely. For 39, the Astra looks better than the Focus - but I’d have a Golf GTI over both. And 40... only the interior is beautiful imo, can’t get past the chintzy front end. That’s 3/5 agreed and 2/5 mostly agreed.
So your unpopular opinions are in fact, pretty popular.

I still quite like the Vauxhall Astra GTC. The VXR 2.0Turbo.
I prefer the VW Scirocco better though.

The Astra GTC VXR is a 2.0 manual with 276bhp, top speed 155mph, 0-60 in 5.9.
The Scirocco R is a 2.0 manual with 276bhp, top speed 155mph, 0-60 in 5.7s.
Not much in it at all.
So on looks, I give it to VW.
Especially with a matte grey wrap.
The Široké bodykit is a little too much maybe.

I don’t think 36-38 are unusual. I guess the 200 convertible is meant to cater to the same market as the old Sebring convertible (not sure what that market is, but both cars cater to it).
39: I think they had driven the Astra hot hatch on an episode of Top Gear - I think it’s the Cruze hot-hatch that North America needs. If they brought it here, my fear would be that they treated it like the SS - no one would know about it, there would be no marketing and then it would be axed because they couldn’t sell enough. Enthusiasts would be waiting for used models which never appear because nobody bought it new in the first place.
40: I still don’t see it. At first I hated it, but after seeing the Doug video on the car I like everything about it. You know when you just don’t like the look of someone? It doesn’t matter if they seem like decent people, but you just don’t like them? That’s the Bentayga for me - in all respects I should like this car but I hate it’s face. It could be one of those designs that grows on me over time...

But the former also has a mechanical diff and hydraulic steering. I’m not sure if the Scirocco does.
Not a fan of matte colors on cars, a bit overdone. And that last kit is to fast and furious for me.

I like the looks of the matte but ye’, I prefer the Viper Green Metallic that was discontinued.

Anyone who doesn’t want a 507 has something wrong with them. Harry is awesome and I haven’t gotten as sick of Doug as most people here. The 200 convertible’s market was rental car companies - they misjudged how good, versatile and inexpensive to S197 was going to be and it made the Sebring totally irrelevant. The Astra OPC looks nice but unless the seriously improved quality from the generation before it was likely hot garbage - we still should’ve gotten it. I’ve seen a Bentayga driving around here and while I don’t hate it I’m not sure I’d call it beautiful.

I like the.leviathan. Seems like a cool dude, and he’s not insanely rich. I liked him most when he had his Ferrari 430.
But then he had a McLaren 620s (I stopped watching Bcuz I hate McLaren 620s- they are UGLY). Though he JUST traded it in for a Lamborghini Murcielago, so I’ll start watching him again.
He only has 26k subscribers, but his video quality is top notch. I honestly believe he does it just because he enjoys it.
