Gate Worker: Look, gang, the plane is here. Everyone grab your shit, get ready to find your seat QUICKLY, buckle up, and be quiet. We’re going to refuel this big boy NASCAR pit crew-style, chunk your checked baggage on as fast as we can, and then we’re hauling ass.
If you have a problem with these instructions, you can wait for the next available flight sometime next week. Capiche?

That was our flight the other day out of San Juan. Flew between bands and was on the ground for 45 minutes. Flew out full.

I know that turbulence very rarely takes down aircraft, but I’d be white knuckling it on that plane.

Heard two 744 flights between MCO and DTW tomorrow, Flightaware showing 1424 and 1331 as 744s instead of 757s.

Sigh... I know you’re right, but it’s a wonderful aircraft.
For whatever reason, foreign airlines are hanging on to them longer. They’re in and out of O’Hare all the time, almost always foreign carriers.
