There are a few shown as being indoors that might be ok, but I’m not as good at iding prewar cars. I asked about the El Camino, and he’s asking $15k. He claims it’s running and driving, and if true and it’s complete that’s not bad.

Oh, people do it. In fact, I’m positive I drove past one last summer judging from the engine note (okay, maybe it was an LS?). For me though the whole point of this car is the rotary. It’s designed around it. I think there must be better cars to put a GM engine into?
