Great car. No common problems. Really well sorted by 2014. 212's in general are fantastic in any trim. Should be due for regular service, cabin filters, brake fluid, and air filters at 40k. Service every 10k. Spark plugs at 60k. Best E-class ever.

Dollar-wise? No idea, I don’t deal with that side of things. Very low compared to other Euro cars. But it’s 7qts of synthetic oil and a filter annually bare minimum. Most of the stuff is easy to do yourself, if you want.

Oh man... Umm... I’m not a salesman... This could be tough.
Most people never have to do anything more than scheduled maintenance. The only maintenance item you would have trouble with I think would be the trans service, because it fills from the bottom. But that’s not until 70k anyways.
They don’t wear tires out like crazy, certainly not like BMW’s.
Super comfy and easy to use.
Rear facing third row!
Tons of convenience and luxury features.
Rear air suspension only. The only problem with one I’ve done on one in the last year was fixed with a software update.
