If you could have an affordable sporty sedan with black leather or red leather , which would you go for?
I need feedback for reasons.

I’ve got red leather in my BMW Z4, and black leatherette in my Mini. I’d go with the red.

If exterior is either white or black, I’d go with red. Any other exterior color, I’d go with black.

i imagine you need feedback on what is going to show on the red (as well as opinions on the color itself).
if youre one to wear jeans 90% of the time, and sometimes those jeans being dyed with dark blue dye, the color may end up on the seats—and more noticeable on the red than the black. of course this is going to be influenced by both the jeans themselves (or whatever kind of pants) and the type of material used for the seats.
i have a car with white leather interior. it’s an old car, that i don’t mind getting stained up. the stains can be removed with a simple cleaning. but it does actually require cleaning with products. white is clearly going to show more than red, but neither will be better than black at hiding it.
i’d say go do some tire-kicking at some dealers to see how the red leather/leatherette has held up after 4-5 years of use.

Burgundy goes with everything. That bright red, not so much. Would pick black with red accents.

I have black leather and wish I had red. It’s not so light it’ll look dirty quick and it’s just much more lively in an otherwise dark cabin.

Red leather is cheesy. Black leather with red accents, either stitching or piping, is sporty.

Depends. There are two red accent interiors for the Saturn Sky. One I have and enjoy. The other I feel is way too much red.
In both cases the seat bolsters are black which I prefer to an entirely red seat.
In general I would lean towards all black because it is so hard to get the right balance of color without going overboard.

Black always, I can’t stand when an interior’s mail color is so bright. Accents in red or blue or whatever sure, but the interior should overall be black.

It’s available is Aussie land I believe (hence the RHD). Not in NA as of right now.
