You have to be un-grey individually on each blog. So Jalopnik doesn’t automatically get you un-grey on OPPO. There’s nothing wrong with your account (though I’m pretty sure the mods here don’t like multiple accs).

Fuel range on a tank for the M3 isn’t as good. Concern for running out of fuel before hitting destination if there was any traffic.

It’s by each individual blog: the garage, black flag, etc. Getting starred from someone ungrey on those blogs will un grey that comment. Or a reply as in this case here. Once the blog follows you, you’re not grey. It just takes some time

When people star an individual comment, that only ungreys that particular comment. You only get fully out of the greys when one of the authors notices your comments consistently enough that they pull your account out of the grey. You’ll know this happens when you get a notification that says “Jalopnik has followed you”
Just keep making good comments, and it’ll happen eventually. Your best chance is on articles that don’t have a ton of comments.

1. It’s not an M3, that’s a 328i
2. You have to be added to the blog by a mod. The authors are mods for the main jalopnik page, and there are some of us that are mods. I’m not one. Comment enough and ask nicely and I’m sure they’ll be happy to add you to the blog. I can’t get a list of mods right now as I’m on my phone. I can at some point in the next couple of days.

M3 should be perfectly safe. It’s a calculated risk. I was worried about a gas shortage, which ironically didn’t materialize. Plus the 3 is sitting outside right now, chance we see the storm here and it gets messed up. Basically I figured the chance I had of keeping the M3 safe was to park it in a parking deck next to a wall.

That reminds me, really need to fix that usb/aux port. The 3 doesn’t have Bluetooth audio, don’t think that feature was added to idrive until 2010.

Here’s a link to the post asking for authorship ; however, make sure you read this first.
Also, it’s all good on the BMW. It is an E92 328i M-Sport so the bumpers may look like an M3 to the uninitiated. I do also have an M3 if you read my name and assumed that’s what it was.
Silver one is my 328i, grey one is my M3.
