Nice. Looks like LA. I learned that building from watching Dragnet . Also, that looks like a Fokker F.VII trimotor, not a Ford. The Fokker had a fabric-covered skin, while Ford used corrugated aluminum for strength. Ford obviously copied the Fokker design, and Junkers, who pioneered the corrugated aluminum skin, successfully sued Ford to block the sale of the Ford Trimotor in Europe.

Thats the reason I asked. I knew that Ford copied the Fokker but wasn’t certain of the details.

Ford was my first guess, but the plane in that photo clearly does not have the corrugated aluminum skin. The curved tail is also indicative. The Ford had a more angular vertical stabilizer.
