Ceramic field tile... patterned like individual pieces of deco tile. It’s tile-ception!

Almost as crazy as this one (different house): tile over a bathtub colored to match hardwood floor finish.

What will they think of next?

The deco tile thing has been so played out. I feel like we’re stuck in 2007 right now due to HGTV reruns keeping the style the same forever. Prior to that, there were patterns, but they weren’t anywhere near as widespread.

Probably not. Way better than just a wall of white tile that’ll show every speck of dirt/grime.

That kitchen field tile looks really nice but the wall besides the bathtub looks like a window that has been covered with plywood. I have heard that covering windows with plywood seems to be currently very popular in Americas...

i like the wood tile. Can’t stand the painted backsplash, I don’t like the tiny tile backsplash trend that has been around for far too long already.
