Since then, I’ve had some sort of close call almost every day. I was very aggressively tailgated, and then brake checked by the same person, someone nearly drove into the side of me while I was stopped, and when I honked, she couldn’t tell who was honking, and didn’t look around, she just stopped and took her hands off the wheel. Oh and about 5 minutes ago someone swung the door of their parked car all the way open, and the only reason I didn’t hit their door was the empty oncoming lane I had to swerve into. Amazon tells me it will be here tomorrow night, and that can’t come soon enough.

It’s a good thing your spending the money on a good one. My $60 one stopped recording completely a few months ago. Thankfully were I live know people don’t drive too crazy (exception for the gas shortage) so I don’t feel the need to replace it ATM.

Hope you never NEED to use it, but I’m sure it’s going to be a comfort that you have it.
I’ve had a dash cam for about 3 years now. Sitting in a box. I just haven’t installed it because I can’t decide where I want to run the wires for power.
Oh, and as far as the horn goes, yeah, Subarus in particular have some pretty polite horns. When I had my Crosstrek, I installed Hella Supertones (just like every WRX dudebro), but they were an easy install and they worked.

Which camera is that? I just bought a Roav (Anker) Dashcam. It’s nice but I’m also looking for another one for my other car.. Possibly with a front/rear camera.

A few weeks ago I was behind someone playing with their phone when the light turned green, after a few seconds, I honked to express my anger and animate said person to “move it’s shit” but the Pajero has this hilariously high pitched horn. How are people supposed to know I’m dead serious about them blocking my way? I need a train horn

Subaru horns are... not their best feature. You can’t even use them because the person you’re honking at will just laugh.
