Went down to Summit after work to pick up the parts I’ve been putting off getting for the Chevelle.
Naturally, the linkage kit for the shifter was on backorder, with an expected arrival of... tomorrow. Between scraping off old undercoating and these parts though, I should be pretty well occupied for a while. I’ll pick up the linkage before too long.

Thanks, yes, and I got a driven gear that will work and is the closest I can get it. I’ll see how far off it is and go from there. Not sure if the speedo cable will reach, so that may need replaced along the way (PG was driver’s side, muncie is passenger’s side).

Excellent. The four doors are highly underrated. One of my favorite TV cars is a four door Chevelle:
Tulip from Preacher drives a ‘72. Really cool car. I may have mentioned that car to you before now that I think of it.

Very nice! The next time you’re running to Summit let me know. I work 2 miles from there and only live 5 miles away. Maybe sometime I’ll give an advance notice on here for one of the Cleveland or Akron Cars & Coffee so we can get you , Roundbadge , me and some others around here together.

Sounds good, I’ll try but my summit trips are often decided upon at work the same day I go :)
