Kinja'd!!!

Wasn’t the happiest when I found out the beer store near work stopped its in-store on-tap sales. Oh well, the TSX still looks good.

By beer store do you mean Wegmans or total wine or do you live in a state that has more puritanical laws than Virginia?Like say Pennsylvania?

Ah I don’t go to total wine enough to remember if ours has taps or not. Usully its wegmans or his wholesale for beer unless I am hitting a brewery.

Yeah, and the taps can still be used for growler fills. To be fair, they were like this in their old location, but when they moved they started serving food along with allowing on-premises consumption. When the chef left, they had to stop the in-store consumption part.

I don’t think Total Wine has taps. At least not the ones in Richmond. According to the owner of this shop, in order to have on-premises alcohol consumption at a shop like this in Virginia you have to serve food (breweries are categorized differently but some of them do have food). They did until their chef left. To be fair, they were like this in their old location, and the taps are still in use for growler fills.
