Got my first shipment in from Summit racing. It’s my floor mount brackets for the harness and some SFI padding. Harness from safecracer should be arriving tomorrow so I’ll drill the holes and get it in by the end of the day! And I’ll test fit the padding to see if any cutting will be required. Then I just need my helmet that isn’t arriving until Saturday! Dumb FedEx... Oh well, no events on the horizon anyways, I’ll probably move before I run any, but there’s some paced laps at NJMP later this month I’ll shoot for at least.

Race car parts are about the best thing you can have arriving...which makes sense because a race car is the best thing you can have. What kind of helmet did you get? I’ve got an HJC from when I had a motorcycle a few years ago, I’m thinking about getting a different one though since I didn’t care for it.

A Zamp closed face helmet
My other helmet is an open face G-Force. Hoping the new one is a little bit shorter as well so that I can get a little more clearance from my roll bar. Currently can only get once inch of space with no padding on my seat. Hoping to get around that with the padding still in place.
