We find a rare Mercedes. So what makes this C300 rare?
That’s right, it’s got three pedals, well four if you count the parking brake. If I was still in the market for a second car, I would be seriously considering this.
After spending two weeks with a manual Mercedes rental in Europe, you could say I have a thing for these things.

There are few cars that check as many of my “ideal car” boxes as that thing and I love the way that generation of C-class looks. The only way to improve on that car for my personal taste would be to make it a wagon (a coupe would be acceptable too) and paint it something other than black.

Personally, I’d put a hood ornament and a luxury grill on it and call it a day. I’m kind of wishing I had shopped for one of these when I was getting the 3.

The interiors are awful and the 300 is a dog. Other than the neato factor for having a stick MB, I had a hard pass on several of these previously.

Pretty good. I’ve got one little spot on the passenger seat where the top shiny layer peeled a bit, so I’ve been trying to use conditioner to keep it from continuing/happening to other seats.

Send a photo of the peeling to my work email cst.114@classicsofttrim.com along with the last 6 of the VIN. When you have a weekday to run down to Charlotte we can replace it under warranty. It’s supposed to wear a little and develop a shine but the peeling isn’t supposed to happen.

I’ll try to get a pic of it. It’s weird.. Its like the upper layer peeled away leaving slight discoloration. Its only about 1 inch by 1 inch.
