Interesting. I think the presentation works pretty well, but I think pushing it up slightly to more of a polka tempo doesn’t work as well.
Of course, I’m not that familiar with Finnish music in general outside Poets of the Fall and Loituma, so I don’t know where this fits in the general tastes of your country...

Frederik was super popular here in 80's but he still records songs. He made his career about being very macho and conquering ladies. Here’s one song (about Putin) he made two years ago.

Here various kinds of rock music was the thing for quite long. Couple of bands even made some success outside Finland. Currently Finnish hip hop seems to be taking over.

Entertaining. Something like a Finnish David Hasselhoff. I saw the other day some tune that was wildly, disproportionately popular in Finland compared to elsewhere, but I can’t remember now what it was... I did notice in trying to figure out what it was that one of my favorite Iron Maiden songs (Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg), which got little airplay most places, actually went to number one in Finland. Interesting.
