Hanging outside the California Supreme Court in San Francisco. This is my big pro bono case, where our side (the people in blue) is trying to prevent a corrupt state agency from forcing a corrupt union (United Farm Workers in red) on them against their will.

Our people were really mad. At these protests, almost all of the UFW protestors are not farm workers, and do not work at this company. Some are volunteers - college students and people from allied organizations. Others are just people paid by the union to be there. Ours are workers, and brought their check stubs to prove it.

I have been really demonized over the last couple of months, and knowing that I am helping made me feel better. It was nice.

What industry are they trying to unionize? And more importantly, how can a government agency force unionization on workers? Don’t the workers have to vote on that sort of thing?
