I’ve always been a big Stephen King fan, but for some reason, I’ve never read It . I’m in the middle of remedying that now (check out the audiobook read by Steven Weber, it’s fantastic), and I’m really looking forward to watching this when I’m done with the book.

I read the book when I was going through my “Stephen King” phase in middle school, but then kind of lost interest in the genre shortly thereafter.

“It” was, to me, his scariest book. I also read it around 8-9th grade and slept with the lights on for a week.

I don’t think it will translate well to the movie, as so much of the book’s vibe was letting you fill in the shadows with whatever your own deepest fears are.

For the Opponauts that haven’t read Stephen King, I recommend “Christine” for obvious reasons.
