Kinja'd!!!

...of receipts with your $300 car.

A lot of recent work, brakes and at least one caliper, and what appears to be removal of the AC compressor...I’m going to have to look under the hood and confirm that. It had AC new, I don’t know why you’d remove it entirely but track car, so I don’t really care.

Whatever though, I paid less for the car than the PO paid for its last service apparently.

Maybe the compressor was bad and after getting a repair estimate he told the shop just to rip it out. Does AC removal change the belt routing, or is it a separate belt? If so that may be why it was removed instead of just left as nonfunctional.

Coincidentally, the worst car I’ve owned had by far the most records.

AC is deleted for the significant weight savings, iirc.

Thats why I would be deleting it/am totally cool with it having been deleted.

I’m not sure I would be cool with having no AC.

I bought a $50 87 taurus 15 years ago that had a crunched in door and needed power steering hardlines. The PO included every repair and service back to new. It was thicker than the Chilton book that came with it!

Got about 6 months out of it and the head blew :(

You’ve had Tercels like I’ve had Dodge Daytonas, and it sounds like neither of us ever learn our god damn lesson.

Kinja'd!!!

I paid $1200 for this one. Then I spent $1200 on that fancy paint job. And I spent another $1000 on performance parts I never installed. And I sold it for $800 because nobody wants a god damn 1990 Dodge Daytona Shelby besides me.
