I’d walk right past that velvet-covered brick with wheels to get to the aeroplane.

I can’t quite say I like it and I think it’s because of the weird crease on the top of the rear arches.

Seriously - who wants a pedestrian VW W12 when you can have 985 cubic inches of P&W radial sounds?

Those cars are bricks with big engines. No thank you.

I hate all Bentleys, not just that one. It’s the car you drive when you have kind of a lot of money and want people to think you have A LOT of money. It’s the poor rich person’s car.

A guy up the street from me had a CGT, and that somebody in my neighborhood who’s house isn’t as nice as mine had one says everything I need to know about them.

I feel like if you want to display your opulence in with a luxury coupe it would have to be a Phantom coupe, or possibly a Wraith if you can stand looking poor in front of your Phantom-owning friends.

It’s got some nice angles. I’m still not convinced by those headlights, though - they haven’t looked right to me since the outer two headlights became so much smaller than the inner ones.

Nice- I love radial engine sounds (really). Although it’s a bit hard to hear in that video, that’s awesome that they built that— I’d love that airplane, car doesn’t thrill me.

Yeah, I mean with basically any Rolls I’ll take your wealth seriously. Bentleys aren’t special like a Rolls.

No. I’ve grown quite tired of the Luxe-Camry. Time to rethink it.

Err, it’s all new. What do you want it to be instead of a luxury GT?

Any car over $100k is ridiculous.

I don’t want it to be anything other than a luxury GT, but I think it’s time to truly give it an aesthetic overhaul. I feel like somewhere in the last 14 years (14!) of basically unchanged design they should’ve started transitioning it into a new style.

Plus, I see tons of these on a regular basis so that could also contribute to why I don’t look at it as something special.

I don’t know about any car, but yeah, at this price point, they get kinda over the top.

It’s a highly moot point, because if I ever spent more than ten grand for a car, that would be shocking. If I could buy any new car I wanted, I’d buy a Cadillac CTS-V and those with options are around $96k. But you’d better have a maintenance budget... I bet the tires on one of those are $350 apiece or more.

I know a guy who bought a Tesla Model S P85 and he said he’d paid over $100k for it, but then he’d also just sold a company he’d helped found, so he treated himself. I asked him if he’d take me for a ride and he said he would only on the condition that I agree to drive it myself. 600 hp. Memorable. He’d never heard of traction control before, so I helped him figure out how to turn it off, and we burned a small amount of rubber.

Yeah, I love the idea of a lot of expensive cars (including that CTS-V), but the odds of me actually shelling out that kind of cash for one are zero. Even if I wanted to (I don’t), my wife would say ‘hell no’.

I’ve driven a Model S 85 (no P) and it’s a really nice car - too much $ though. I recently got in a CTS-V and mashed the gas for about 5 seconds - now that was breathtaking!

Meh. I didn’t like the original, and this is more of the same. Same bloat, same awful dog-taking-a-shit hunchback rear fenders that make a Crossfire seem somewhat attractive, same excessively large C-pillars. The headlight arrangement, whilst unconventional, seems backwards and awkward. Different =/= better.

It’s hard to tell who the intended purchaser is, but the best I can tell it’s someone that thinks a Rolls Royce coupe isn’t ‘sporty’, whatever that means in this context. Not that they could actually afford a Roller, but they don’t want to be seen in something with a plebeian badge. Ostentatious without being attractive, for those that think the MSRP defines what is ‘best’.

I like it. It’s a definite improvement over the last model, looks less ponderous and reminds me more of the old luxury coupes from the 20s

not sure yet - I think it’s one of those cars I’ll need to see in person. I do like the new nose, (though I’ll bet some folks will complain that is looks like a new Lincoln.) Not sure about the front fenders, tail area and that chrome stripe running below the doors.

Maybe when I’m old and I can’t use my left foot, I’ll buy one for $40k.
