So, back when Phoenix actually ran out of gas for a week, they put in restrictions at stations to prevent people from doing this. Is this a “fake news” type crisis or do people just not care and are just going to buy as much gas as possible until it is gone?

Here it can be a little problematic for station attendants letting you fill up a petrol can.

I really can’t get my head round it.
I’d of got away from the station, phoned the police and fire brigade and let the station shut down. Because there is more than one idiot here, the guy filling the bins and the attendants letting him out of ignorance or not they should be keeping a watchful eye on those pumps.

Even before that, I want to know how be plans to get those probably 275lb barrels of gas out the back of truck. Lifting from basically neck height, I’m not sure those little molded handles are going to get it done. My guess is the dude and his best friend spill 82 1/2 gallons in their driveway. Actually, I don’t think he makes it that far. The barrels tip over the first time he hits the brakes and then catches the truck on fire as the gasoline leaks through the gap between the bed floor and bed walls and onto the hot exhaust system below.

My Piglet has a 66 litre fuel tank and I’m at the pump for three minutes. Fuel stations have cameras for each pump (here in the U.K.) right next to the till or very close by. There is an emergency fuel cut off that shuts off all pumps.
