My buddy is a huge fan and season ticket holder - he thinks it’s just Kelly now, but he’s not sure about Weis. Either just ran out or has a year left.

My buddy usually knows anything ND related - he’s a Purdue alum, but the ND tix have been in the family a looong time. Was surprised he didn’t know for sure.
I went to Illinois so college football is pretty much moot for me.

See, once upon a time, ND alumni had rights to lifetime season tickets.When the demand made that no longer feasible, they switched to a lottery system for alumni purchase. What happened to the seasons tickets is that people related to the holders hid from the university when the alum died and kept purchasing. ND supposedly cracked down on this behavior, but if a person makes a large enough donation, the administration appears to overlook it. This stinks because then people who never went are getting tickets to all the big games, while loyal alumni like my wife are left scrambling for the table scrap little games.
When we lived in Ann Arbor, I gave her the gift of using my handicap status. Even though the stadium is always sold out in advance, there are always spaces for a wheelchair plus one accompanying person held available. I managed to get her in to some big games like the dedication of the new stadium.
I went to Cornell; so, football is even more moot for me.

I’m not sure what my buddy’s connection is - think someone is an alum, just not him.
I haven’t been to the big house - in college and right after, I went to a lot of road games, so I’ve been to most of the Big Ten stadiums but not that one. I’m sure it’s crazy—
