This is something I’ve been wondering about for a while now: with a U-joint, there’s no guarantee of continuous velocity when things are rotating, depending on the angles involved. That’s why cars mostly use CV joints. But what about steering linkages that contain multiple U-joints? Is the difference just not significant enough that it’s still fine to use U-joints for steering?

They don’t rotate fast enough to make a difference. Reminds me I need to take measurements for my new double cardon shaft Im getting.

too many bad vibes that I’ve tracked down to the front shaft. Both are kinda done actually. Ujoints are great in both but the slips joints are toast.
