The Mustang, which you’ll remember I’m trying to sell, was a victim of a recent flash flood that resulted in a little water getting in the passenger side. Nothing was ruined but unfortunately the carpet was pretty severely stained. An hour or so with some Simple Green and a wimpy 1hp shop vac resulted in this:
Not amazing, but a hell of a lot better than it was. Somehow my lucky ass got out of this with no lingering smell or mold, which is amazing.

I can’t bring myself to use shop vacs on liquid. I know they say they’re wet rated but the lizard at the back of my head screams not to let water near electric things.

probably and if here is one of my go-to interior cleaners. Tuff Stuff , does wonders and smells good. Great on carpet stains , it won;t remove everything but does better than most. It says for vinyl but I’ve used it leather, carpet etc. I just make sure on leather to use a conditioner afterwards.

We don’t have a well. And a pump is a lot different than a blower.
