So I get to drive a Japan-built sport compact and tell all of my import-hating family I own a Ford at the same time. If that’s not having my cake and eating it to, I don’t know what is.
(If you think I’m exaggerating, one of my uncles came to visit and actually said, “I wouldn’t know Michiganders lived here by the cars in the driveway. At least your Mazda is actually a Ford underneath.”)
