That’s a pretty cool idea and now very practical with LED’s. We have a few “fancy” ceilings in our house like this dining room one and our master bedroom has a recessed thing with a ring of LED lighting in it. Not quite that fancy though.

Yeah the previous owner put them in and it was one of the things that sold me on the house. The bathroom upstairs has a similar treatment that to the dining room that is quite nice. That being said we have a room upstairs that they painted sky blue including the ceiling with the exception of white crown molding where the ceiling meets the walls. It drives me nuts. I think I’m just going to paint it white.

Right before one of the sketchiest highway entrances of all time. Back when I lived in Pittsburgh (born there, left off-and-on for school in ‘02 and for good in ‘08) that damn ramp at Carnegie would throw you right onto the Parkway outbound at the end of the jug handle with no room to merge. I was pleasantly surprised while visiting a few years back to see that it’s actually been extended it into a dedicated lane. When I was in high school that ramp was the final test in most driving school classes - if you could do that without dying they assumed you were good to be let loose on the streets.
