Kinja'd!!!

My Facebook feed has been showing me ads for Thursday Boot Co lately and I finally got interested enough to click through on one of them. They look pretty good and based on the limited customer reviews out there I’m temtped to purchase a pair. Have any Oppos purchased a pair of Thursday boots? I’m curious how the quality is?

Vanquish Zagato for your time.

I’m quite happy with my Friday Stilettos.

Don’t own a pair but did consider them when I was shopping around. Ended up buying something else because of the less-than-glowing reviews I found: boots were uncomfortable, materials weren’t very good, manufacturing defects, etc. This was a year ago so maybe they fixed those problems but honestly boots are one of those things where you get what you pay for and a good pair can last years and years, so it might be worth the extra cash to get them from an established brand like Red Wing or Wolverine versus some Kickstarter company.

I’m on that same train of thought. If I had the money I’d get a pair of Crockett & Jones no questions asked. Unfortunately I’m on a budget and the Thursdays look decent. I’m wary of the kickstarter/startup fashion companies popping up now. Most of them are just buzzwords and cheap products that everyone likes to bandwagon on.

So that’s how you get those sweet downshifts down?!

Yeah I don’t trust startups either considering how rare it is in the fashion world to see a company actually deliver on what they promised. Not saying they’re all bad, but like you said it seems like they rely on hype more than actual quality.

If you’re on a budget check out Sierra Trading Post if you haven’t already, they’re basically an outlet store that sells overstocks and factory 2nds for crazy discounts.
