FYI, if you used that exact phrase when making the bet, as you didn’t specify the nature of ‘day’ you could claim you meant a day on Venus, which is equivalent to 243 Earth days....gives you plenty of time fo coffee drinkin’ :P

I definitely felt weird after 3 in an hour and a half. Would not recommend passing that rate. That said, based on the nature of the nature of the post you’ve probably got more tolerance than me... still:
I’m going to go for 1.5/hr for 2 hours and 0.75/hr for every additional hour, plus an additional 2 cups if your day lasts longer than 18 hours.
Don’t kill yourself. Drink lots of water.

I knew a kid in high school who was hospitalized after crushing and snorting ten No-Doz, or roughly 2.5 grams of caffeine. I personally lived for three days in college on nothing but coffee and Mountain Dew, which led me to learn that there are such things as caffeine-induced panic attacks as well as hypoglycemia-induced panic attacks, and that the two are not mutually exclusive.

I went to a “coffee festival” last year and they gave a bunch of ~3oz samples from local coffee places. I didn’t try all of them (and I didn’t finish every sample I got), but I tried probably 15+.
You know that feeling when you’ve had too much (alcohol) to drink and you just have to ride it out? Yep, exactly that, but add in the shakes. It was miserable. An hour-ish walk helped, but it was still pretty horrible.

Straight caffeine and I learned about it in an exercise about LD50 (amount needed for a lethal dose in 50% of a given population) in my freshman year of college. It only takes a rather small amount for either of them but it takes slightly more for the gas. Caffeine is always heavily diluted so you can chug Monsters without it killing you.

My record is two venti Starbucks black iced coffees, a grande, and a tall. (48+16+12=76 fl. oz)
-17/10 would recommend.
I wouldn’t go past 50 fl. oz at this point. I’ve had like 28 fl. oz today if I’m not mistaken.
But then again, I’m Colombian. I drink way too much coffee by everyone’s standards.
