I cannot unsee it now, but with the rear fender I thought maybe it was a Challenger/Dodge concept.

That ridiculous, cartoonish 1999 concept has at least 50% more glass than the current product.

Because who needs to see when you’ve got comprehensive coverage?

And those dirty pedestrians need to stop complaining when they’re hit, they need to pull themselves up by the bootstraps and buy themselves a tank car.

The 0.8 inch air gap is definitely helping pedestrians when they are getting mowed down at a greater rate and higher speed due to poor visibility.

Increasing the likelihood of an accident in order to reduce the impact of that accident feels like the wrong direction. Statistics indicating pedestrian fatalities (in the US) are on the increase for the last 7 years may agree. Of course, also cell phones, I’m sure.

I rented one for 4 days. It wasn’t hard to see out of. In fact, it was easier to see out of than a Sonata that I had as a rental for a few days a while back. This myth needs to die.

I’ve sat in one, I thought it was pretty bad. I rented a Mustang, same story.

Maybe I’m just picky, but I’d be interested to measure. From a comfortable seating, how far from the limits of the footprint to where you can see ground in front and side-to-side.

It’s like they put their arm over its head and stuck their fingers in its nose and pulled back. I don’t know if anybody else can picture this like I am.
