I think the CLA looks too much like the CLS to begin with. Sure it’s easy to tell them apart side by side. But I’m always having to take a second look on the road, and that shouldn’t be.

Yeah it kinda does, but I can usually spot the difference from pretty far away - mostly because I hate the CLA with a passion. It has weird proportions to my eye (droopy butt and FWD overhang), and is a lot smaller.
The CLS is starting to look pretty stale though.

I’m ok with the CLS body - though I’ve gotten old enough to realize that the styling just takes away cabin space. But the CLA rear is just ugly.

Hmmm, I think I like it - but I see more 6 series in the greenhouse than I’d like, and it looks like it has very high window sills. An improvement over the current model, for sure - that one is getting ooooooold.

This one might have the best profile yet, they are stretching the wheelbase a bit as well so the interior should have a bit more room than the outgoing CLS.

Lol nah I was referring to the 3rd gen CLS photos. I know with the body cladding it’s tough to see but I’ve seen comparison pictures of the past gens and this one won’t have the same kind of droopy butt. It will still slope but just not as dramatically.

Agree with you on the profile - but the original CLS was absolutely stunning when it came out compared to the competition. It’s just that tastes have changed a bit since then, and this is a nice update.
