Giving in and selling my bike

I have too many projects and not enough time or money to do what I want, so off she goes.

I don’t like to get personal on Oppo, but I’m moving. Exciting! It’s just far enough of a move where it isn’t really worth it to bring the bike with, and I won’t be able to fix it before I start packing up. The space at the new place will be appreciated (no more bike in the kitchen!) and the extra money won’t hurt, either (even though it really isn’t much).

Yes, I’m losing quite a bit on it. Oh well! Usually I make out pretty well when I buy used cars or parts, but that has taken a hilariously bad turn lately. I’ve bought a car that’s depreciated horribly (which is fine, I knew it would), and a few cars that I knew wouldn’t depreciate, but have more than the purchase price into them in parts. Yowza. I’ll get by.

Feel free to pass the ad along (and please do!) if you know anyone in the Chicagoland area who is interested. I had big plans for this bike, but it’s time for me to move on.

Oh, and yes - it will make an excellent first bike.

Hah, nice! It’s one of my favorite places to go to take pictures, since the sunset hits it just right, and it’s generally pretty deserted.
