05-07 is the more saught after year range for the 100 series cruisers as they came with both VVT-I and a 5-speed transmission plus a stronger 4-pinion front differential.

Body code J is correct but the F series engine production ended in 1992. As these got the 2UZ-FE, its production name is the UZJ100.
A few markets got the 1FZ-FE in a 105 series, but FZJ105 Cruisers are almost exclusively RHD and very hard to find.

AFAIK, these ball joints are not available separately. You’d need to replace the whole arm.
Shocks, torsion bars, rear coils, and a diff drop for a 1.5" lift would only run about $1200 in parts for an OME package from Slee but this wouldn’t include any new bushings, ball joints, or an R&P.

Lol get a clean 200 series for that? Not in TN. I can CList or Autotrader just as far as Atlanta and see on average a 5-6k decrease in asking price on just about any car I would search for.

The fronts aren’t bad, the AHC is something you may want to steer clear of on account of its complexity and cost, but the front is just torsion bar. Now the front UCA’s on the early models DID crack when lifted and wheeled but the later models don’t seem to have the problem.

Truthfully AHC isn’t even that big a deal. Worst case you rip it out and replace it with a $600 lift kit from OME. Hardly a deal breaker. I think most people are concerned about the UCA’s but that issue is mostly in the past. buyers guide here if you are interested.

The tape is certainly questionable, but what makes you think it needs a front-end rebuild? I would imagine some bushings need refreshing, but everything else in the front end is pretty stout. Worst case scenario you need to deal with the AHC, but that can just be removed if you like. Source: I have a 2004 100 series.

I couldn’t see the bigger pictures in the ad, but all 100 series have that. Apparently if you don’t keep at least a 1" rake, the handling gets iffy. Not sure why, I’d prefer it to be level myself.
