I had to cut down a tree in my front yard today, and it was only 12 years old! A really pretty tree, before the gas company cut its roots out when they put in new gas lines in front of my house a couple of years ago. It was slowly dying ever since. It was a shadow of its former self, so it had to go.

I’ll use some of the wood for smoking meats on the grill, and burn the rest after it seasons for a while. My wood chipper/shredder made short work of the smaller limbs, it’s one of the best tools for major yard work.
