Got it pinned down to no spark due to no crank signal, bad news is the crank and cam sensor are brand new.
While turning g the car over to see how well my $10 scan tool worked the car nearly fired up and the tach jumped to 1k. After turning it over many many more times it did it again and the tach danced from 1-3k for roughly 1.5 seconds. Than nothing.
Now I need to verify that the wires to the crank sensor are good, but without a wiring diagram there’s nothing I can do. Luckily no one cares about Kia Spectras so there are no forums of use, or wiring diagrams that don’t pertain to the stereo.

Once it’s running the plan is smog and sell it. Hopefully I can turn a beat 05 Spectra into a set of rims.

It’s worth a shot to got to the parts department at a dealer and see if they’ll hook you up.
Some even post diagrams on their website.

I might try that tomorrow, see if they’ll email them to me. If not I may just go to the nearest community college because I know they have Mitchell pro-demand. Im holding out on that though because it’s 50 miles away and I’d feel weird using their computers when I’m no longer attending

Thank you for going out of your way to help here. As you already figured out it turns out that I missed something obvious. Nonetheless i don’t trust that car and these may come in handy
