Mitsu’s not dead yet, but it’s an Empty shell of what it was in the late 80s and early 90s. Let’s take a moment and remember how cool it once was.
And some cool cars that never made it to the states.

And Dodge sold the crap out of rebadged Mitsubishis ... or was it Plymouth?

It’s been time for a few years now.
Maybe FCA and Mitsu could do a reunion of sorts.

Eagle seemed to me to be a way to get something with pretty good quality into AMC showrooms.

Right? It’s a natural corporate toilet swirl.
To be fair, Daimler only wanted Ma Mopar’s cash reserves.

I realize it’s a hot take, but I feel the same about GM.

Mitsu has the competence and money to reinvent themselves though.
Agree that their past lineups were awesome though, take 1986:
You had your sport compacts,
super saloons,
coupes,
and proper off-roaders.
The following year, we also had the arrival of the Mirage Cyborg and Galant VR-4, basically laying the foundations for the Evo in place.
