I finally found a Switch

So I got it along with Breath of the Wild. I think this may become my favourite Legend of Zelda game: I love the art style and open-world gameplay.

The Switch itself? I love the system but I’ve been playing only in handheld mode. I will connect it to my TV eventually, but I found out I didn’t have any more available outlets and am waiting until I get my new surge protector (and Switch screen protectors) from Amazon. I’ve been extra lazy and don’t want to bother figuring out which plugs belong to which device (since there are many).

Anyways, this’ll be nice to have on my upcoming trip overseas.

Woohoo! Me and my daughter just did some split screen Mario Kart at 30,000 feet. This thing been amazing for me so far. I play maybe 70% handheld. It has been amazing for travel - alone and with others. FYI I got an Anker PowerCore+ 20100 USB-C battery that can charge while you play. Not many USB batteries can provide the juice to keep it charging while you play. Something to consider while you’re heading overseas.

I love my Switch. I play way too much Zelda and Splatoon on it.

I am considering that as well. If I recall correctly the 787 I’ll be flying in has AC plugs so I can use the bundled adapter.

This is my first USB-C device and it’s refreshing being able to plug it in without having to worry about getting it wrong twice.

I loved Splatoon on the Wii U, it’s a nice take on the team shooter.

Have you played the original Splatoon as well? If so, how do you think they compare to each other?

I am also playing much of the Splatoon - what’s your ID info or whatever - I’ve enjoyed playing with other kin-folk
