Merger, not buyout.

Too late, Volvo and Lotus. I think the Mazda partnership covers Toyota, and if they can bring Subaru in closer I think that trio would be delicious.

Chrysler Sonata 200? FCA seems like such a mess Hyundai is probably better off without them but Jeep and Ram would be good for Hyundai in the U.S. market.

Actually, I think the Chrysler part of FCA is pretty much a blank slate right now while the Fiat part has a structure in place and ready to start but needs a large cash dump to kick it off. Seriously, imagine if Hyundai dropped $10 Billion on FCA instead of land in China.

Are you crazy? That is the worst union I could think of. Maybe Daewoo (back when it wasn’t part of GM), VW, or modern Nissan, but not Hyundai/Kia.

Learning more about Hyundai’s current position you are correct FCA would be helpful. With rushed products and not planning to replace current products FCA on its own still seems a mess to me. Hopefully a surprise Dodge Journey, Fiat 500, Alpha Giulietta, and Chrysler 300 new versions show up.

I’m down for this. Dodges preformace, Ram’s trucks, and jeep’s Jeeps, combined with hyundia’s build quality and reliability

Hyundai could benefit by building SUVs or trucks with the help of Jeep and RAM. FCA could benefit because Hyundai could help them make something thats reliable. Seems like a win-win for me.

Ummm, still no. Hyundai is one of the car lines we have and it’s shit and probably not the same places FCA is. So either they would help fix each other or they would both be even shittier.
