Spotted this in town today, looks very nice. But the asking price was $12,500. Umm this would be a good driver for half that in my opinion.
But what do I know? What does oppo think?
Sorry for the super crappy interior pic, I didn’t want to be that guy opening the door of someone else’s truck. Someone did that to my truck the other day and I didn’t love it.

All the little Datsun utes are CP wherever in the world they are...
This one is cheaper at AU$9K but the condition isn’t there compared to your DOTS
Toyota on the other hand...AU$3k will get you this (admittedly not running) but look at it!

Yeah pretty much. A friend of mine puts little tiny “For Sale” stickers in every car of his, with his phone number. And he isn’t even unreasonable, it’s pretty funny. I first met him by asking him about a truck he was driving, the conversation went like this:
-Hey I saw that for sale on the road the other day, did you buy it?
No.
-Oh. Well... then I guess it’s not for sale anymore?
Sure it is.
-Oh! Great, how much?
How much do you think it’s worth?
-I don’t know, can I drive it?
Sure, just make sure you come back...
I bought the truck, then found a bill of sale from the dealer 37 years earlier for the
exact same amount!
Then, 9 years later I sold it back to him for, you guessed it, the same amount again.

Yeah, nope. I could get a Tacoma for that kind of money, and drive it all the time. This is a summer toy around here, and that’s a lot for a toy.
