If I’m going from wheels 6" wide with a +45 offset to wheels 7.5" wide with a +52.5 offset, what kind of spacers do I need to run? Lots of good things are happening for my MR2 lately. Big update on its way (bonus points for guesses, the spacers are a hint...)

Where did you get Mazda wheels?

That’s spot on, wow. I guess that offset & width is unique to Mazda?
Yeah, a friend of mine went aftermarket and sold me the stock wheels for a good price. Been wanting bigger OEM wheels for the look and (hopefully) durability.

That’s incredibly helpful, thank you! Spacers will definitely help with the proper fitment. Actually fits better than I expected, though I’ll need to do some kind of front fender flares since the wider wheels stick out more.

It’s a brilliant calculator, especially when you need to check suspension clearances etc. I use it fairly regularly.

The +52.5 offset. Mazda likes that one for whatever reason. The stock wheels on my car are 17x6.5 +52.5. I just
upgraded
to 17x7.5 +50 because nobody in the aftermarket makes +52.5 wheels.
I’m guess at 7.5" wide with a +52.5 offset yours are 18" Mazdaspeed3 wheels?

Yup, 18x7.5. The only low profile tires I can find for them are of the “max performance summer tire” variety though, which could get expensive quickly.
