The C4 Corvette has been my dream car for years to the point where I have an unofficial shrine to it.
For context, I have more than a few 1/18ths and 1/24ths that aren’t on my shelves that could certainly use that space, but I leave it for the two.
And today, I get to take a look at a 1984 example of it that I might buy if it’s not too much of a basket case.

Gave up on that months ago. Interior has been exposed to the elements for several years, the transmission needs to be rebuilt, and the front bumper of the car fell off a while ago.

1984? Didn’t those only come with CrossFire injection? I was always told that’s literally the one thing you don’t want to have.

Yep.
I’ve heard conflicting accounts from some time on the Vette forums. Some people absolutely hate it and say it makes it an absolute no while others swear by it and say the system is the only thing they never had to fix or replace.

I was very impressed with the C4. Pleasantly surprised. It was a 93 300hp LT-1. I think I prefer the look of the early C4 (like the one you pictured).
Cool car. I imagine it handles better than most cars from the 80s.
