Get hydrangea fertilizer. You can also change the color of the bloom this way if I’m not mistaken.

Make sure it’s happy

Is it in the right sun/shade? How’s soil oh? Does it need food? You properly trim it every year?

How hot is it where you live? Excess heat/cold prevents plants from blooming.

Well, how are you caring for it? Fertilizer, watering schedule, etc.

The curling leaves may be giving us a hint here.

A little vinegar in the water will make it turn vibrant blue.

After that, miracle grow in the soil and make sure pests are staying away (keep the bees and such, but not the leaf-eaters)

I’m not providing any care at all... but in previous years it’s been covered in blooms.

Yes, soil pH will determine the color.

Is the soil around it dry? Any bugs under the leaves?

I provide absolutely no care and in previous years it’s been absolutely covered in blooms. Nothing has changed about its care/sun/water.

Hydrangeas are fickle, fickle plants. They need special fertilizer, which also determines the color of the flowers. I’m a plant person and I still refuse to plant any because they are such high maintenance.

Sing it love songs and whisper sweet nothings to the bush.
