320 miles round-trip, 6000ft elevation change and temperatures ranging from 31° to 76°, all within the national park. Next stop will either be Hurricane Ridge, Hoh rainforest or Deception Pass

Mountain drifting/mild offroading has torn both lips off a few times. I attached the front lip with magnet so it comes off easy, the rear lip is still ziptied at either end. Once those break I’ll do it up with magnets too

Did you go up to Sunrise?
I made a similar drive with a MB group a few years ago, took the old car, the old dear didn’t miss a beat although it was 90F+ at lower elevations. A long trip for the car, and I was pleased with the performance. My favorite pic, behind a friend’s W123 with a lenticular cloud on the mountain:

That’s one place we didn’t make it. Actually ended up turning around because the line was so line to get on the road. Next time though. I’d love to get closer to the main peak

Sweet, i want to check that out on my cross country trek. I didnt know if it was worth the time but I guess I should make time for it on the way to Cape Flattery.
