Ha ha, you have to click through to see the “after” picture. Washed the Miata for the first time in probably two months and peeled the plastidip off of the OEM tupperware, and left it on the front lip since it’s just black anyways so whatever. I say “peeled” but I really used WD40 and a pressure washer. Spray liberally with WD40, give it 3 o so minutes to soak in, and then paint it off with the sprayer. Works great.

Did you drive through a bunch of runoff from wet concrete or something?

Runoff from water-cooled concrete saws. So... basically yeah. They are tearing up the concrete around the apartment to replace the sewer main.

Those splashes had the distinct concrete-dust color!
Looks good now - it’s always satisfying to wash a very dirty car.
