Could they really not thing of a better solution for an air brake than this? I mean my Fiesta buffets less, and it has a much less intrusive solution... Come on, it’s the size of a light bar!

My car has 2 little plastic flaps which pop up at the front of the sunroof opening. They do a really good job, especially since the sunroof opening on my car is about half the roof.

Mine has a little wind deflecting strip with fins that barely rise above the opening.

This is a pretty run of the mill deflector for wind noise sunroof throb. It probably did enough to meet their target and was very cheap to implement. How’s the rear window throb? (One rear window down only above say, 35mph)

Source: wind noise engineer for a few months.
