How did you get so rich that you pay for in-flight internet?

It’s airplane internet. He’s probably at the wedding by now.

I’ve done a bunch of travel the last two months, both for work and family, so I sprang for the monthly plan. I needed it a couple of times for work. Our 2Ku system isn’t too bad.

Aside from the wedding, what will you be doing in SEA?

Cool. I’m terminally cheap (pun realized after I typed it). I never pony up, even when I can expense it.

I didn’t expense it, but yeah. There gets to be a point where I’ve seen all the good movies.

That’s it. Fly in, wedding at 1 Saturday and fly home Sunday. We are doing the eclipse Monday. Might get some Taco Time tomorrow.
I have to fly back out to Seattle week after Monday too for a work deal.

I always take it on long international flights... It works surprisingly well over the Pacific and usually only cost like 20$...

That’s not bad. I usually load up the iPad ahead of time and bring books. Then I end up watching Best In Show on the in flight screen anyway. :/

The hot rod. 757-200. Tail number 698. It started with the company about 18 months after I did.

Nice, love those. When I was part of the NWA the only time we got a 57 was when it had to do a reroute to our airport for a medical emergency. All our scheduled flights were 320s, DC9s, and ERJs, so having that big beauty come in was an exciting day. I remember we had to borrow a towbar from another airline because we didn’t have one for a 57.

Plenty of the NWA 757s out there still. The -300s are getting a nice interior upgrade.

Crazy. You’ll miss the meetup, too.
Taco Time in western WA is the best in the country. It’s separate from the company that operates in the rest of the country... I was never a fan until I had it here.

Sadly, yes.
I can’t be picky about my Taco Time. It doesn’t exist in my part of the country.

Then definitely savor it here - you’re lucky to be getting the best version of it that exists...
